Alex is a PhD student in the Italian Department at University College London. She has a BA in Modern and Medieval Languages (Italian and French) from the University of Cambridge and an MA in Medieval and Renaissance Studies from University College London. She works on the Bianchi of 1399, a popular religious revival which spread throughout the northern and central Italian peninsula. She writes about her research at https://bianchi1399.wordpress.com/.

Alex has been a coordinator of the Digital Editing and the Medieval Manuscript Roll series at University College London since 2016.
